The Stone Sanctuary is a part of a Bronze Age cult complex (2000 BCE). It was discovered and excavated in 1992. The center of the structure has an oval area that is not filled with stones. Following the example of adjacent similar cult complex sites, the sharp end of the structure points east.
During the excavation, an oval-shaped pit was found in the central part, and inside it was a rectangular-shaped molded bowl-altar directed towards the cardinal points. Such vessels are very rare, so they most likely have a special, non-domestic purpose.
In modern times, a wooden sculpture of the pagan goddess Mokosh, the patroness of family, motherhood, and the feminine principle, has appeared on the complex's territory.
