The Cromlechs of the Eneolithic period are a unique archaeological site. It consists of 12 cromlechs and 6 stone structures from the end of the 5th to the beginning of the 4th millennium BC.

During the construction of the historical and cultural complex "Zaporizhzhya Sich" in 2005, a whole series of stone structures were discovered. Further research in 2006-2008 led to the discovery of 12 cromlechs and 6 stone structures of various sizes.

This cult complex is one of the most interesting among the sanctuaries of the island of Khortytsia. Firstly, it is distinguished by the very high preservation of almost all elements of the structures. And it is also one of the oldest sanctuaries, already more than 5.5 thousand years old.

These structures were built by representatives of the Cucuteni culture at the end of the 5th to the beginning of the 4th millennium BC. After the research, the entire cult complex was reconstructed at the level of the modern-day surface and is now available for viewing by visitors to the island of Khortytsia.
